Carrying up to five thousand grams, the Aerosonde payload is customised to meet the specific data gathering requirements of each mission.
Onboard equipment can include cameras, remote sensing and meteorological instruments, range finders, radio repeaters and electronic magnetic monitoring instruments.
Aerosonde has undertaken missions for the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, The Australian Army, NASA, US Office of Naval Research, US National Science Foundation and the Japanese Frontier Program.
